坎特伯雷‧Canterbury

Canterbury 相對上並不是一個熱門的英國旅遊目的地，我前往亦只因她鄰近 Dover，可一併從倫敦作一天遊，主要亦只是想參觀那裡的坎特伯雷大教堂。

1. 坎特伯雷大教堂‧Canterbury Cathedral

在大多遊客心目中，Canterbury Cathedral 可能比不上他們更熟悉的西敏寺甚至 Bath Abbey，但實際上 Canterbury Cathedral 在英國的地位十分崇高，坎特伯里大主教亦同時是全英之主教長 (The Primate of All England)、英國聖公會的最高主教。

Canterbury Cathedral 是我在英國見過的最美的大教堂之一。建築上我覺得它較西敏寺更有氣勢，不過西敏寺就比較多名人和君主的棺槨。

2. 羅馬博物館‧Roman Museum

我來到羅馬博物館 時，也沒留意已是 3:55p，離關門時間只有五分鐘。職員也沒介意，只提醒要看快一點，後來讓我逛到近 4:15p 才示意我和另外兩名遊客要離開。博物館並不大，主要展出一些羅馬時代的文物，我本來就是要預留多些時間給大教堂，所以覺得也足夠了。

3. 其他地方

我逗留在 Canterbury 的時間不多，主要目的亦只是參觀大教堂，所以只能在市中心的幾條街巷走走。不過找覺得 Canterbury 除了大教堂外，其他也沒甚麼非看不可的地方，所以覺得 Canterbury 的行程都差不多了。

4. 旅遊心得 (資料更新：2006 年 9 月)

	英國的貨幣是英鎊 British Pound (GBP / £)，當時的匯率 £1 約值 HK$14.8。 [即時匯率]
	Canterbury Cathedral 門票 £6。
	羅馬博物館門票 £3。
	我從 Dover 乘巴士到 Canterbury，£4.3，車程約 40 分鐘。
	我從 National Express 的網站買了 "fun fare" 特價巴士票返回倫敦的 Victoria Coach Station，£1，車程約 1 小時 50 分。
	倫敦 Victoria 火車站有頻密班次前往 Canterbury。車程約 1.5 小時，來回 £19。
	我因時間所限，不能找到一個較遠的位置拍到整間大教堂。大教堂正門向西，以下午拍攝為佳。
